UPDATE 12/08 – This film was made in March 2008, and since then my life has completely changed. I no longer work with Liam, I’ve been diagnosed with (and beaten) leukemia, I don’t live on the West Coast…basically, anything you can think of, it’s different. Wideshot Studios and I hope to/plan to team up in the future for a longer, more relevant documentary on “The Mixtress”.
jules, i am impressed. you’re my hero and i’m speechless. so much love to you. xoxo
As always, you’re captivating! Creative idea, well-executed directing, I’m shocked that this didn’t win the whole festival. But number 16 out of 122 films is damn impressive. Congratulations, and definitely on “Best Soundtrack” — Jules, you’ve done it again. Be proud, Mixtress. Looking forward to a extended version of this…when’s it coming?
Hey Jules. This is jay Def. The video was great. I’m really excited about being able to share in this by becoming one of your ninjas. :)
Wow, seeing that film just made me all the more happy to be getting involved with this project
We dig it Jules, you have a great energy about you.

Ben
Hiding the CDs is *so* much fun! And congrats on everything… it’s great to be a small part of this as the Seattle Ninja. Keep up the good work!

Im glad there are other like me who enjoy making mixes.I started in the mid 80s with cassettes and upgraded to CDs in 03
Hi Jules
I feel the same way about music you do.Theres a whole army of us mixmasters and mixtresses.
the feds should go after real criminals like child beaters, tax evaders, and the like.THE RIAA would have a hard time catching simple mixers all over the world.
