Kings of Leon brothers get their dad into rehab

Ivan “Leon” Followill, former Pentecostal minister and the estranged father of Kings of Leon members Nathan, Caleb and Jared, reportedly entered rehab in December after his sons staged an intervention.

Says an insider: “Their dad lives in Oklahoma and had fallen on hard times, working part-time as a house painter. He’s had a terrible drinking problem on and off for years but he didn’t have the money to get treatment — and he couldn’t bring himself to ask his boys for help.”

Nathan, Caleb and Jared, after hearing that their dad was “literally close to death”, funded treatment and aftercare and Followill is now getting the help he needs.
